Description

The Internal Revenue Service has a requirement for security services at major IRS installations in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area as described in the synopsis posted March 17, 2003. A Request for Quotations was issued July 24, 2003. This acqusition is unrestricted with regard to business size; however, responses are limited to firms who are on GSA Schedule 084, Guard Services, SIN 246-54, on the RFQ closing date. To be qualified for award, offerors must also clearly demonstrate with their offers that they are licensed to do business in both Maryland and the District of Columbia on the RFQ closing date. An information copy of the RFQ will be available on the web site www.procurement.irs.treas.gov on or about July 28, 2003. Questions and communications must be delivered by electronic mail or facsimile; no telephonic communications are authorized.
