Description

This is an Amendment to the Pre-Solicitation Notice for The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) requirement to acquire construction services for our facility at the Veterinary Services Laboratories (NVSL) at Ames, Iowa. This amendment changes the solicitation release date to read on or about July 29, 2003. This change to the solicitation (request for proposal) release date changes the due date for receipt of proposals to read on or about August 29, 2003 (at 2:30 p.m.). All other portions of the pre-solicitation notice remain unchanged. The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to renovate the NVSL Administrative Building?s exterior front entry (visitor) and other general construction in accordance with the statement of work, specifications and drawings. The construction must also comply with the current Americans with Disability Act. The estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The solicitation, #APHIS-03-016, is to be affixed to all documents submitted in reference to this requirement.
