Description

DESC. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a proposal is requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) F09650-03-T-0225. Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins AFB, GA contemplates negotiation on a full and open competition basis to procure for purchase the following item: ABZOL, TM DEGREASING CLEANER, 55 GALLON DRUM. CHEMICAL MUST BE LICENSED AND APPROVED FOR USE AT ROBINS AFB WITH THE HAZMAT/EM FACILITY. Quantity: 24 Drums. The period of performance is 12 months. Required delivery schedule is as follows: July 2003 – 10 drums November 2003 – 2 drums December 2003 - 2 drums January 2004 - 2 drums February 2004 - 2 drums March 2004 - 2 drums April 2004 - 2 drums May 2004 - 2 drums The resulting contract will be Firmed Fixed Price. The following clauses are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1 (Instructions to Offerors), 52.212-2 (Evaluation – Commercial Items), 52.212-3 (Offerors Representations and Certifications – Commercial Items), 52.212-4 (Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders—Commercial Items). IAW clause 52.212-2, the evaluation factors shall be: Price and Price related factors. Written procedures will be used for this solicitation. All responses must be submitted no later than 23 July 2003. Quotations may be faxed to (478)926-3590. The anticipated award date is 25 July 2003. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. All contractors have to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for a government award.
