- Description
- The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service (GSA/PBS) intends to issue a contract to Carnegie Mellon University under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The procurement action is to obtain corporate/consortium membership in the Advanced Building Systems Integration Consortium (ABSIC). The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The government will consider all proposals received by close of business Monday, August 4, 2003. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Inquiries will only be accepted by FAX at 202-501-3836 or email.
