Description

Material Testing on Piezocrystal Materials according to specifications. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division, Newport, RI (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award on a sole source basis to a small business: H.C. Materials Corp., 2004 South Wright St., Urbana, Il 61802. H.C. Materials is the only manufacturer able to provide tight compositional control over PMN-PT single crystals. Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR Part 13 will be used. No formal solicitation will be issued. Note 22 applies. Code - A (Research and Development) NAICS: 339999. Offers must be received by 2:00 p.m. on 2003 Aug 08. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Instead, they may be accessed at our web site http://www.npt.nuwc.navy.mil/contract/. We also provide electronic access in our Bid Room.
