Description
1. Vessel(s) required: One U.S. flag with coastwise endorsement through the term of the charter, clean, approved, coated tanker, with the following minimum particulars: ? Vessel minimum carrying capacity 235,000 BBLs ? Require segregated ballast tanks (SBT) ? Require inert gas system (IGS) ? Minimum of 3 segregations (intended JP5, JP8, DFM) ? Minimum 2 ton cargo hose handling boom at the manifold ? Minimum speed 14 knots with minimum cruise range of 5,000 NM (Force 3 Beaufort) ? Ability to mechanically clean at sea ? Ability / equipped to call at offshore petroleum facility ? Ability / equipped to perform cargo operations pierside ? Maximum LOA 680 ft ? Maximum DWT 40,000 LT ? Maximum draft 35 feet when laden with 235,000 BBLS DFM; 26 feet draft when laden with 80,000 BBLS of JP5. ? Must meet all MSC requirements for reporting ? Must have current Chevron/BP vetting approval for loading at commercial oil terminals within the region and be listed in the SIRE program. Proof of vetting must be submitted to the contracting officer prior to award. ? Vessel required to be capable of carrying a minimum of 12-armed military personnel for security reasons in accordance with the Force Protection clause. 2. Place/Range of Delivery: Caribbean/US Gulf in CHOP 3. Place/Range of Redelivery: On completion of discharge in Caribbean, US East Coast, US Gulf Coast, or at charterers option 4. Charter Period: About 120 days with Government option to cancel any time after 30 days with 10 days prior notice 5.
