Description

This Solication 303-FW-NRCS-03 is being Modified to revise the Reponse Due Date to July 31, 2003, and to provide instructions for obtaining the Solicitation. Interested Vendors must contact the Contracting Officer via email at newing@ftw.nrcs.usda.gov for a copy of the Solicitation indicating whether they want the Solictation sent to them by mail or fax. Vendors must provide to the Contracting Officer the Company Name, Contact Name, Address, Email Address, Fax and Telephone number. Vendor must meet Enterprise (Tier 1) qualifications. The Gartner Group considers Tier 1 to be the following vendors: Dell, HP/Compaq, or IBM. The equipment must meet the USDA Common Computing Environment(CCE) requirements for remote management via Dell Open Manage, Compact Insight Manager, or equivalent. (Please see the last *item on each configuration to meet the CCE requirment.) All machines must be rack mountable. The machines will host critical applications mandated by the Secretary of Agriculture and the NRCS Chief. Each Configuration requires one(1)initial year of service, as well as two(2)additional years, for a total of three(3) years. All Offers must be submitted to the Contracting Officer by fax at (817)509-3594, or mail using the address provided in the Solicitation.
