- Description
- The Regional Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii intends on procuring cable assemblies. This requirement is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 334417 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. A single award will be made to the technically acceptable low price. Award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Part 12 Commercial Item and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Reference PR number N0007003RCS1437 applies. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-13 and Defense Change Notice 20030430. This requirement is for a fixed price contract for the following CLIN. CLIN 0001: DELPHI P/N 1123791-1H, 60001AD CABLE ASSEMBLY, 12 CH HERM PLUG TO PLUG, MM/SM, 500 FT, brand name or equal, quantity of ten (10). FOB Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Inspection and acceptance are at destination. Offeror to propose best delivery date as the number of days after receipt of order. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror—Commercial; and FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications—Commercial Items, apply to this requirement. Offeror shall submit a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 with its offer. The following FAR clauses apply to the requirement: FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions—Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order—Commercial Items. The following clauses under FAR 52.212-5 apply to this requirement: FAR 52.222-21, Prohibition of Segregated Facilities; FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; 52.222-35, Equal Opportunity for Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era and Other Eligible Veterans; FAR 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities; FAR 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era and Other Eligible Veterans; FAR 52.225-3, Buy American Act—North American Free Trade Agreement—Israeli Trade Act—Balance of Payments Program; FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer—Central Contractor Registration; and FAR 52.247-64, Preference for Privately Owned U.S.-Flag Commercial Vessels. In addition, FAR 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal, applies to this requirement. Offers of equal products shall clearly identify the item by brand name, make or model no., and include descriptive literature and drawings with their offers. The Government plans to award a single contract resulting from this solicitation.
