Description

The project consists of 3.01 kilometers new trail construction from established centerline control flagging and staking. Work includes clearing and grubbing, excavation, switchback and rock retaining wall construction, rock structure drainage crossings, and incidental trail construction items. The project is located in non-wilderness; use of mechanized equipment and motorized trail construction equipment, with a wheelbase less than 40 inches, may be used on the project in accordance with the Prosecution of Work provisions. The project is located on the Klamath Ranger District, Winema National Forest, Klamath County, Oregon, approximately 45 miles northwest of Klamath Falls. See the Vicinity Map, Sheet 2 of the Drawings, for access to the project site. This will be an emerging small business set-aside. Expected issue date is July 23, 2003. Expected price range is less than $25,000.
