This is a Life of Type Buy. This requirement requires one (1) each, first article submitted for testing. Destination to be furnishe d. Delivery Schedule 230 days after contract award. 100 days for production of first article, 30 days testing and 100 days for delivery of production quantity. Delivery Schedule without first article, 100 days after contract award. Due to urgency, we i ntend to release a letter contract immediately and do not intend to allow a 30 day period for receipt of proposals; therefore, companies are encouraged to express their interest immediately. Offerors must be approved and qualified. Foreign Firms are remi nded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. The Government does not possess sufficient documentation to acquire this item from other than the qualified source. A technical data package, which defines all engineering and quality requirements, is not available. This proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources. Suggest that small business firms o r others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with this procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. A letter contract will be issued to The Raytheon Company, 2501 W. University Drive M/S 8064, P.O. Box 801, McKinney, TX 75070-080 1 (Vendor Code 96214). All responsible sources may submit a bid /proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by this agency, request solicitation package from address above, ATTN: AMSAM-AC-LS-M, Kim Smith, FAX Number 256-955-7737.
