Description

The USAF Academy Operational Contracting office is issuing this sources sought/request for information to identify the availability of sources for musical instruments for a Drum and Bugle Corps the equivalent to Dynasty Marching instruments manufactured by DEG Musical Instrument Company which are produced domestically or in Qualifying Countries in accordance with DFARS 225.872-1. The USAF Academy seeks to acquire an estimated quantity of 21 musical instruments. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for the specific purpose of identifying potential contractors with the capability of providing Drum and Bugle Corps musical instruments as indicated above which are produced in compliance with the Buy American Act as required by FAR Part 25 and DFARS Part 225. As indicated above the instruments may be manufactured in the following ?Qualifying Countries?: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Egypt, Germany, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom. This Notice is not a request for quote, and shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any instruments or otherwise pay for the information furnished. Responses are desired ONLY from those manufacturers who can supply equivalent instruments manufactured in compliance with the Buy American Act.
