- Description
- Eglin AFB, FL has a requirement to Construct Roll-Through Pad and Ground Pad at Test Area A-31 at Eglin AFB, FL. This acquisition is unrestricted. THIS IS A ?TRADE-OFF? (PERFORMANCE PRICE TRADE-OFF) ACQUISITION. Award will be made based upon the ?Best Value? to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.3. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest proposed price. This project includes furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials and performing all operations in connection with Construct Roll-Through Pad and Ground Pad @ Test Area A-31 at Eglin AFB, FL. In general, the work consist of the following: Clearing and Grubbing, Site Work, Construction of Concrete Pads and Walls, Construction of Crushed Aggregate Roads, Removal and Installation of Security Fences, and Establishment of Turf. The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment complete in accordance with the plans and specifications. The work is located on Test Area A-31, approximately 20 miles northwest of Eglin Main AFB, FL. The estimated solicitation release date of 25 JUL 2003 IS ONLY AN ESTIMATED DATE. Estimated dollar range is between $100,000 and $250,000,000. Performance period is 150 calendar days. The NAICS code is 238110 with a size standard of $12M. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. This is a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued but the Request for Proposal will be available on the Federal Government?s Electronic Posting System (www.eps.gov). All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through the Government?s Electronic Posting System. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most current information regarding this acquisition. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a Government contract. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after closing date, with no obligation to the offeror by the Government. See Note 26.
