Description

NA Notice intent to award a sole source contract. Under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 6, subpart 6.302, the USA Robert Morris Acquisition Center, Pine Bluff Contracting Division intends to contract with Air Techniques International, 1 1403 Cronridge Drive, Owings Mills, Maryland, 21117-2247 on a sole source basis. Air Techniques will provide a Mid-Range Filter Leakage Testing Station System consisting of one Q160 Overpressure Tester and one TDA-110P Particulate Tester. TDA-1102 Partic ulate Tester will be used to test M48 Filters in accordance with military standards document EA-DTL-1284D. Particulate Test 200 CFM M56 Filter set will test in accordance with military standards document MIL-PRF-51526A. The Q160 Overpressure Tester will t est 200 CFM M56 Filter Sets in accordance with military standards document MIL-PRI-51526A. The Contractor shall also be required to provide technical data and training on use of the system. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing eviden ce that competition would be advantageous to the government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities, pricing and other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the governments needs. Detailed capabilities must be su bmitted to USA Robert Morris Acquisition Center, Pine Bluff Contracting Division, 10-020 Kabrich Circle, ATTN: AMSSB-ACP Thaddious Kee, Pine Bluff, AR 71602-9500. This synopsis is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. No solicitat ion document is available and telephone request will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to t he government. If no affirmative written response is received within 15 days from the publication of this synopsis, a contract may be issued to Air Techniques International without further notice.
