- Description
- The purpose of this project is to survey riparian areas on the Fishlake National Forest in Utah using Level II Methodology as described in the Intermountain Region?s Integrated Riparian Evaluation Guide. The job also calls for some minor inventory of existing fisheries habitat. About 126 miles of streams (base bid with additive) with associated riparian areas have been identified for survey. Stream length is calculated from the stream layer in the geographic information system (GSI) with the stream sinuosity mapped a scale of 1:24,000. The exact number of miles that will be surveyed is dependent upon the offer and cost per mile. The anticipated start date for the project will be the latter part August 2003. The approximate posting date for the solicitation will be the 22nd of July 2003 to this same website.*****
