Description

Project is for construction of a new bathhouse and site utilities including: installation of a new septic tank(s), effluent lift station, sewer force main, and drainfield; installation of specified water and sewer lines; installation of primary and secondary electrical systems in coopertion with the electrical supplier; earthwork, seeding and mulching. Work is located on the Poteau District of the Ouachita National Forest in Scott County, Arkansas. Contract time for completion is 150 calendar days from the effective date of the notice to proceed. Cost to the Government is not expected to be the controlling factor in the selection of a contractor for this solicitation. The degree of importance of cost as a factor could become greater depending upon the quality of the proposals for other factors evaluated. The following factors will be used for evaluation of each proposal: Past Performance, Experience and Price. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Solicitation will be available on this web site on or about July 21, 2003. Telephone requests are discouraged.
