Description: This solicitation is to provide service for work which involves excavation, placing crushed aggregate, removing and installing culvert riprap, seeding and mulching. One site requires a large culvert removal, stream slopes laid back to a 1 1/2:1 slope, and the remainder of the road, plus a shot spur, to be decommissioned. Seeding, fertilizing, and mulching of work areas will also be required. Seed and mulch will be Government furnished. Work is expected to start September 8, 2003. The solicitation will be issued O/A July 18, 2003. Government estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. In accordance with the clause FAR 52.218-13 Alternative Payment Protections, payment protection shall be 100 percent of the contract price.
