Description

NA Bassett Army Community Hospital, Ft. Wainwright (Fairbanks), Alaska, requires two (2) Mock JACHO surveys and an on-site educational follow-up. The first survey shall begin NLT 26 August 2003, followed by a follow-up visit in Winter 2003/Spring 2004 and the n a second Mock JACHO survey NLT 2 August 2004. Actual JCAHO survey is anticipated in the Oct-Nov 04 timetrame. Each mock survey shall be conducted by one physician and one nurse and shall encompass Inpatient, Ambulatory Clinic, Behavioral Health and Home Health Services areas. Surveys shall be conducted using the latest published Official JCAHO procedures, official agenda and standards. A three day educational followup visit by at least one surveyor who participated in the initial survey shall be provided within 5 to 8 months after the initial survey and shall include practical instruction on areas of concern found during the initial survey. Also required is off site support during the year to provide consultation and the sharing of plans, policies, procedu res and other documents. Anticipated publish date of the solicitation is on or about 1 July 2003.
