Description

The contract(s) awarded as a result of this commercial acquisition conducted on a full and open competitive basis will be for a five-year firm fixed price requirements type contract IAW FAR Part 12. The contract ordering period will be from 1 Sep 2003 through 31 Aug 2008. Product required is Argon, Type II, Grade ?A?, 99.998% minimum purity IAW MIL-PRF-27415a dated 11 Dec 1997 and amendment 1, dated 20 Aug 1998. The total five year estimated quantity is 3,391,000 pounds delivered FOB destination to the following four locations; Richland, WA; Rocky Flats, CO; Miamisburg, OH; and White Sands Missile Range, NM. Due to the multiple locations, more then one contract may be awarded. Successful contractor (s) will be required to provide a 1,500-gallon at both the Rocky Flats, CO and Miamisburg, OH locations as well as an additional 6,000-gallon tank at Miamisburg OH.
