As required by OMB Circular No. A-76 (Revised), dated 5/29/03, this notices serves to publicly announce the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service?s (ARS), transition procedures of the following competitive sourcing studies: ? Conversion of cost comparison to standard competition of facilities operations and maintenance support services at Beltsville, Maryland and Washington, D.C. currently provided by 209 FTE incumbent USDA/ARS personnel. Competitive Sourcing Official: Edward McPherson. Contracting Officer: Lyndia Countee. Agency Tender Official: John van de Vaarst. Projected end date of competition: December 26, 2004. ? Conversion of cost comparison to standard competition of facilities operations and maintenance support services at Ames, Iowa currently provided by 68 FTE incumbent USDA/ARS personnel. Competitive Sourcing Official: Edward McPherson. Contracting Officer: Cheryl Coxen. Agency Tender Official: Mark Bulechek. Projected end date of competition: December 26, 2004. ? Conversion of cost comparison to standard competition of research farming services at Beltsville, Maryland currently provided by 58 FTE incumbent USDA/ARS personnel. Conversion of cost comparison to standard competition of research support services at Ames, Iowa, currently provided by 44 FTE incumbent USDA/ARS personnel.
