Description
Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), PMA-260, has a requirement for the development of Computer Based Maintenance (CBM) aids for Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) or systems supported by CASS. Specifically, this requirement will provide CBM?s for the E-2C High Power Amplifier Group, the E-2C JTIDS Receiver/Transmitter, the F/A-18 TFLIR Optics Stabilizer Group, and the F/A-18 TFLIR Infrared Receiver. The CBMs shall support Navy maintenance technicians and personnel on the use and application of Test Program Sets (TPS), maintenance procedures, Automatic Test System (ATS) applications, and related activities for designated U.S. Navy Systems. Required deliverables include four CBM?s on CD Rom and five Test Program Instructions (TPI) using CBM. It is anticipated that a sole source, Firm Fixed Price contract, using the authority under FAR part 13.5, Test Program for Commercial Items, will be awarded to Prospective Computer Analysts, Inc. (PCA), 100 Garden City Plaza, Garden City, New York 11530. PCA provides the operational expertise required for a ?turn-key? understanding of CASS operational concepts with specific reference to the CASS and TPS programs. PCA has the historical expertise and knowledge to ensure that the fleet receives the CBM products in the timeliness required to meet the needs of the fleet. Any questions to this synopsis should be sent via e-mail to reynoldsja@navair.navy.mil on or before 7 July 2003.
