- Description
- The Office of Public Health and Science (OPHS), Office of Minority Health (OMH), through the Program Support Center (PSC), intends to award a twelve month sole source simplified acquisition to Urban Inter-Tribal Center of Texas, Inc. The purpose of this simplified acquisition is to develop and implement a program dedicated to increase awareness and access by American Indian Citizens in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex to crucial Federal, State and local resources that will be of benefit in case of emergency situation, such as bioterrorism and/or a natural disaster in this geographic region. Closing date for this announcement is July 10, 2003. The proposed simplified acquisition action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed simplified acquisition based upon responses to this Notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Contractors may forward capability statements to the referenced address within 15 days after the date of publication of this Notice. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement
