- Description
- INDEFINITE DELIVERY-INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR IRRIGATION SYSTEM DESIGN, INSTALLATION AND EVALUATION IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN OREGON. The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is seeking the submital of Standard Form 254 Architect-Engineer and Related Questionaire, and Standard Form 255 Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionaire for Specific Project for an Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) engineering services contract within the state of Oregon. The engineering services will be for irrigation system design, installation and evaluation in Klamath County and various locations in Western Oregon. The engineering will require the services of a registered Professional Civil or Agricultural Engineer in the State of Oregon. Contract Information: The Government may select up to three top ranked firms to award an indefinite deliver-indefinite quantity contract. Each contract will have a base year with no option years. Work under this contract will be subject to satisfactory negotiation of individual task orders. Award of any task order will be based on the contractors' past performance in terms of quality of deliverables, cost and compliance with the required delivery schedule. The price of any task order will be at least $500 but shall not exceed $25,000. The maximum order for each contract shall be $75,000. This announcement is open to all businesses regardless of size. The North American Industrial Classification System(NAICS)code is 54133. Pre-Selection Criteria: Firms must meet the following criteria in order to be considered for an award under this requirement: (1) one or more registered professional engineers registered in the state of Oregon holding a bachelors degree in civil, agricultural or biosource engineering from an ABET accredited college or university and with a minimum of 10 years of responsible experience in the hydraulic design of irrigation application systems(sprinkler and gravity systems including the development of irrgigation water management plans); (2) ability to conduct surveys and design irrigation systems in a reasonable short time period (10-15 days); (3)have complete knowledge of the theory and practice of irrigation water management, irrigation system design, irrigation system installation and irrigation system evaluation for agricultural irrigation systems; (4) have specific training and experience in the design of measures for mitigation of adverse impacts to fish and wildlife resources and habitat; and (5) demonstrate experience in the preparation of construction drawings ans specifications for agricultural irrigation systems.
