Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for F38SFS31570200 BEAMHIT TARGET SETUP. 1 - 460-8 (TARGET SYSTEM) 1 - ALT-C TARGET (SILHOUETTE), 1 - MINI-RETS (POP UP TARGET), 4 - M-4 BLAZER, 4 - M-9 BLAZER, 6 - LASER ALIGNMENT DEVICE 5.56, 4 LT-500 LASERS W/9MM SLEEVES, 6100 - 5.56 BLAZER LF BLANKS, 6100 PMM BLAZER LF BLANKS, 4 BORELIGHT KITS, 6 – REFLECTIVE TARGETS. The award will go to Beamhit 10220 Old Columbia Road, Columbia, MD 21046. This system is the only one available on the market that utilizes the weapons carried by Base Security Forces. This system meets all the requirements for quarterly firing and does not require compressed air to operate like a fire arms training simulator. The 460th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Questions should be directed to 2nd Lt.
