Description

The 38 EIG/PKK has a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services for Charlotte ANG NC. The proposed contract is for five years, with two option years. The local exchange service provider certified by the Public Service Commission of North Carolina shall provide local commercial communications service for Charlotte ANG NC. Local communications service shall include, as a minimum but not limited to, local access for commercial business lines, analog subscriber lines, analog and digital trunks, foreign exchange access lines and trunks, transport channel services, directory number and number portability, emergency 9-1-1 service, operator and directory assistance, local and Intra-LATA access, and interconnection with Inter-LATA exchange carrier. Competition is open to domestic and foreign sources. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered. Sources responding to this synopsis must indicate, in writing, whether they are large, small, disadvantaged and/or a women-owned businesses. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under NAICS 5133 with size standard of 1500 employees. In order to be eligible for award of this Request for Proposal (RFP), offerors may be required to have a Basic Agreement with this office. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
