Description

The United States Government presently occupies office space in Providence, Rhode Island under a lease that expires in June 2004. The Government seeks to lease approximately 4,650 - 4,750 BOMA rentable square feet of office and related space along with 8 designated parking spaces to house the United States Geological Survey. The rentable space must yield approximately 4,100 BOMA usable square feet of space. Relocation will be considered if the economics involved and other factors are supportive. The cost of: moving, alterations, current lease liabilities, and the occupant agency mission, among other things, will be considered when determining if it is in the Government's best interest to relocate. The term of the lease will be for ten (10) years, five (5) firm. Interested parties must submit a written expression of interest by July 15, 2003, to Joe Nickerson, Contracting Officer, General Services Administration, 10 Causeway Street, Room 975, Boston, MA 02222. Submissions should include: building name and address, available rental and usable square footage and respective rental rates, method of measurement, common area factor, date of space availability, and the owner's name and address and a written statement from the owner that the offeror has legal authority to provide information on the property.
