Description
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is requesting quotations from vendors for the purchase of up to seven (7) Non-Straddle Wok Positioners for the Western Currency facility, located at 9000 Blue Mound Road, Ft. Worth, TX 76131 in accordance with the attached drawings and Statement of Work (SOW), which are available for download at www.fedbizopps.gov. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. This procurement is unrestricted. The applicable NAICS (formerly SIC) code is 333291 and the associated small business size standard is 500 employees. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-03-0513. Delivery terms are F.O.B. Destination to the BEP Loading Dock at 9000 Blue Mound Road, Ft. Worth, TX. The resulting purchase order shall be firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right to order a quantity of between 1 and 7 at the offered price, from a single vendor. The basis for award shall be price alone to the technical acceptable quote lowest in price. Quoters shall submit their technical literature with their quotation for evaluation by the Government. Minor differences in the size/weight of quoted equipment are acceptable provided that no problem areas are identified by the technical end user, and any such differences should be identified in a cover letter along with the technical literature provided. All interested businesses are requested to submit a written quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be made on an SF 1449 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, warranty terms, company name, and point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUNS number, and size status (i.e., small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). If this item is available under GSA Schedule please provide the schedule number. Quotations are due no later than July 21, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. EST.
