- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate a firm fixed price modification with Raytheon Company Integrated Defense Systems on a sole source basis for the Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) II of the MH-60R Airborne Low Frequency Sonar System. This LRIP II procurement will be for approximately four ALFS systems and the associated program management, engineering, integrated logistics support, testing, training, spares, and technical data required to support this effort. As the sole manufacturer and developer of the ALFS system Raytheon is the only source with the technical data and experience necessary to perform this effort within the time frame required to meet the government?s needs. Due to limitations on the Government?s rights in data, a data package sufficient for the competition of this requirement is not available. NOTE 22 Applicable to this synopsis (sole source)
