Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are be ing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The SIC is V999. This solicitation serves as the Request for Quotation for lodging services in the Fort Hood area. The Government is requesting 25 rooms from 1 July 2003 through 9 August 2003. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. Provisions at FAR 52.212-2, Instructions to Offers-commercial and FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial items apply. Award will be based on the best value to the Government, which includes room rates, room tax rate, extended stay facilities such as in-room refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave, telephone w/data port, TV, laundry facilities, iron/ironing board, and a reasonable commuting distance to and from Fort Hood . The Government reserves the right to shift lodging dates and/or cancel completely NLT 5 days prior to the start date. Payment shall be based on occupancy only. Offerors need to include a complete copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Represe ntations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their offer (registered in CCR, DUNS Number, Cage Code, and Tax ID Number). The statement at 52.212-5, contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statues of Executive Orders-Commercial Items, appl ies to this acquisition. Offers are due before 1600, 27 June 2003. A determination by the Government not to compete wi th this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
