Description: DESCRIPTION: This contract consists of removing and disposing of the existing roofing materials and re-roofing four buildings. The contractor shall provide and install all materials associated with the project, including but not limited to ridge, vents, trim, flashing, fasteners, fall protection, vapor barrier, and underlayment. The Contractor shall be licensed by the state of Washington. All buildings will be occupied for the duration of this contract. The buildings are as follows: Quarters #1031 and #1032, approximately 810 sq ft each, 4/12 pitch, with cedar shake roofing over 1"x6" skip sheathing at approximately 8 inches on center. On these buildings, the contractor shall install new 7/16" OSB over the skip sheathing, underneath the new roofing materials. Office building #1003, approximately 2300 sq ft, 4/12 pitch, with cedar shake roofing over plywood sheathing. Auto shop #1004, approximately 4200 sq ft, 4/12 pitch, with cedar shake roofing over plywood sheathing. All buildings shall be re-roofed with composition laminate shingles. Interested contractors may attend a site walk-through on July 14, 2003. LOCATION: Marblemount, WA, is located approximately 100 miles northeast of Seattle. Restaurants, lodging, and camping are available nearby. SOLICITATION DETAILS: This acquisition is subject to P.L.100-656, Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program, and as such is open to all business concerns regardless of size. The NAICS code for this project is 238160 with a small business size standard of $12.0 million. The estimated price range for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000.
