Description
NA The Walla Walla District intends to award a contract for restoration at various locations along the upper Snake River in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The work involves building a Rock Grade Control; this is a low-profile levee made from rock that overtops durin g high water stages. The Rock Grade Control protects a section of land between the flood protection levees that are fronted by the river. There will also be some topographic survey work in this contract. This survey will be on the before and after site conditions. Additional work involves the following optional items: Six Fish Barbs, and two Eco-Fences. Fish barbs are rock outlets that tie into the Rock Grade Control. They are for the fish to rest behind and also to slow the water down along the side of the Rock Grade Control. Eco-fences are for erosion control of the land behind the Rock Grade Control. The Eco-fence posts are HP12 X 84 piles. The fence material is welded-wire cattle panels. Each Eco-fence is approx. 100 feet long. There will als o be repair work on the existing Eco-fences. The optional items will be awarded only if funding and time allows. Time for completion of the basic items of work is September 15, 2004. The estimated cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The Nort h American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990. The small business size standard is average annual receipts for the previous three fiscal years must not exceed $28,500,000. This is an unrestricted procurement. All responsible business sources may submit an offer, which may be considered.
