Description

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Mt. Weather Emergency Operations Center (MWEOC), Bluemont, VA, intends to negotiate with Audio Video Systems, Chantilly, VA, on a sole source basis for design/configuration services; audio visual equipment and installation services for renovating FEMA's Operations Center. Performance under this contract will involve access to classified material; work in a security area or both. All contractor personnel assigned classified responsibilities in conjuntion with the proposed contract shall have a security clearance of no lower than Top Secret. Equipment to be purchased: Rack w Accessories; Rack Mount; Video Quad Processor; Integrated Remote Control System; Three Channel Volume Control Module; 8 port IR/Serial Control Card; 12 inch Color Multimedia Touchpanel; Rack Mount Kit. Interested persons may respond by identifying their capability to provide the required equipment and services, to include descriptive literature, pricing and security clearance information on proposed personnel. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received by the date identified above will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
