- 17. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. RFQ-R1-17-3-24. The solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-12. The NAICS code is 421320. Line Item 1 - 5000 Tons of Crushed Aggregate. Line Item 2 is an Optional Item for 1000 Tons of Crushed Aggregate. Line Item 3 is an Optional Item for 7000 tons of Crushed Aggregate. Material: Crushed Aggregate, Type Surfacing Grading D (Certified Weed Free), in accordance with FS Standard Specs for Construction of Roads and Bridges, 1985 edition. Material Spec ? Section 703 incorporated in Amendment 1. Deliver Line Item 1 and any awarded portion of Line Item 2 by September 30, 2003 to stockpile site at Red River rock source, located at MP (mile post) 0.4 on Road 234. (0.4 mile above Red River Ranger Station, Elk City, Idaho. Line Item 3 is to be delivered by September 30, 2003 to O?Hara Quarry at approximately MP 0.5 of Road 651, Hanby Fork drainage. Include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items, with this offer. The following clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 (Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items); 52.212-3 (Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items); FAR 53.212-4 ? Contrat Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items); and FAR 52.212-5 (Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items). Written quotations are due at the Nez Perce National Forest, Route 2, Box 475; Grangeville, ID 83530 at 4:30 p.m. on June 26, 2003. Aggregate for crushed base or surface courses shall be crushed stone, slag, or gravel meeting the requirements shown in table 703-3 unless shown otherwise in the SPECIAL PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS. Unless shown otherwise in the SPECIAL PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS, the crushed aggregate gradation shall meet the requirements of table 703-4 for the grading shown in the SCHEDULE OF ITEMS.
