- Description
- (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) RFQ 0401-03-0033. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) (iii) Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14. (iv) This is a total small business concern set aside under NAIC CODE: 336212. The small business size standard for this code is: 500 employees (v) Line Item 01 6’ 8” X 18’ gooseneck aluminum stock trailer, tack room with 4 tier saddle rack, blanket bar, tack hooks and brush tray, 1 each. Line Item 02 6’ 8 “ X 16’ gooseneck 3 horse slant stock trailer with tack room, 1 each. Line Item 03 Line 6’ 8 “ X 18’ gooseneck 4 horse slant stock trailer with tack room, 1 each. (vi) Specifications: 1. All trailers shall have torsion bar suspension. 2. Axle capacity for 3-horse trailers must equal or exceed the gross trailer weight. 3. Two 5,000 pound axles on 4-horse trailers, minimum. 4. Electric brakes on all wheels (including emergency break-away switch). 5. All trailers must be wired to meet overhead-encased wiring to meet Department of Transportation and Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. 6. All trailers must be wired to meet current 7-pole flat blade standard trailer connector. 7. Stall length to suit your needs. 8. Stall width minimum 36 inches inside on all trailers. 9. Stall height minimum 78 inches inside on all trailers. 10. Adjustable hitch, 20,000-pound capacity coupler for a 2-5/16-inch ball on 4-horse gooseneck-type trailers. Range of adjustment must be approximately 5 inches above and 5 inches below the standard pickup bed height. (vii) Delivered by: July 15, 2003 to 355 North Vernal Avenue, Vernal, Utah 84078. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors Commercial apply to this acquisition. (ix) The provision at 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. Price, warranty, and delivery time will be evaluated. (x) Offerors are to include a completed copy of the provisions found at 52.212-3 Offerors, representations and Certifications Commercial Items (xi) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. (xii) The clause 52.215-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items apply to this acquisition.
