Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and as supplemented with additional information included with this notice. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2001-13. All responses from responsible Small Businesses will be fully considered! The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price contract. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. All quotes must reference the Request for solicitation number USZA92-03-T-0033. This Requirement is a Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2001-13. It is the Contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with all applicable clauses and provisions. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 3496. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 332618. Size Standard is 500 employees. The requirement is for a Mezzanine two stories high to maximize vertical space and allow access to a fast rope/ladder training area. The mezzanines must support the weight of personnel and equipment. The lower mezzanine is L-shaped to allow low access to the exisiting climbing wall. The areas open to a drop will have a handrail, it will be removable or retractable to allows access to the fast ropes. COPIES OF DRAWINGS CAN BE OBTAINED BY CONTACTING THE POINT OF CONTACT REFERENCE BELOW. PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE: the following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provisions are applicable to the acquisition: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offers-Commercial Items October 2000); 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items ( Jan 1999), with the following evaluation factors inserted in paragraph ?a? of the provision: ?Quotes will be evaluated as to the minimum requirements stated herein, price and related factors?. 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (July 2002) and Defense Federal Acquisition Supplement (DFARS) 252.212.7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Nov 1995) are applicable to this requirement and offerors shall include a completed copy of the Representations and Certifications with their offer. The following FAR Clauses are applicable to this acquisition: 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Feb 2002); 52.212-5 (Dev), Contract Terms and Conditions to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Deviation)(Apr 2003)is hereby incorporated by reference, with the following clauses being applicable to the solicitation: 52.203-6 Alt I, 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity, 52-219-6, Notice of Small Business Set Aside, 52.225-13, Restrictions on Certain Foreign Purchases, 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Special Disabled and Vietnam Era Veterans. 52.222-36 Affirmative actions for Handicapped Worker (29 U.S.C. 793),. 52.222-37 Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era (38 U.S.C. 4212), 52.225-3 Buy American Act ? Supplies (41 U.S.C. 10), 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer, Central Contractor Registration. Additionally, the following clauses are applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items Orders Acquisitions of Commercial Items 52.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, 252.212-7001 (Dev) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (Deviation). OFFERS ARE DUE: 17 JULY 2003. Offers shall be received at HQ,USASOC, ATTN: AOCO (DAVID F. FOUCHE), FORT BRAGG, NC 28310, not later than 3:00 p.m. EDT, 17 JULY 2003. FAX submissions will accepted at: (910) 432-9345. Offerors shall include: (1) letter signed by an individual authorized to bind the organization, with a schedule of offered items to include: proposed delivery performance (Number of Days for Delivery after receipt of Order) and price. The price shall include Delviery and Installation of Mezzanine System. All work will be completed in a professional and manner (2) completed Representations and Certifications, and (3) acknowledgement of any amendments that may be issued.
