Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service invites bids on a contract for the construction of the Headquarters/Visitors Contact Station at the Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge, Swanton, Vermont. The facility will consist of structural insulated panel exterior walls and roof with wood post and beam frame, masonry and concrete floors and foundations. This project incorporates multiple trades to include excavation/site work, carpentry, heating, plumbing, electrical etc. The work includes all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the project. Estimated magnitude for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The NAICS/SIC code for this acquisition is 236220/1542. This is an unrestricted procurement in accordance with Public Law 100-56 and is open to any size business. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered. Issue date will be on or about June 30, 2003. The cost for plans and specifications for this project will be $75.00 and shall be requested in writing to the above address: Attention: Gary Dupuis, Contracting Officer. TELEPHONIC, FAX AND EMAIL REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITAION PACKAGE OR QUESTIONS ON THE PROJECT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. All questions about this project must be submitted in writing to the address above or via FAX to 413-253-8450. Any request for a solicitation package must include the solicitation number, company name, address, telephone and fax numbers, point of contact and a check in the amount of $75.00 made out to the US Fish and Wildlife Service.
