Description

The Committee for Purchase From People Who Are Blind or Severely Disabled (Committee) is pursuing parternships with U.S. Commercial Manufacturers of CD/DVD laser label kits and refill. The CD/DVD laser labet kit should include a minimum of 10 matte CD/DVD labels with design and application software compatible with Windows 95, 98, ME, 2002, NT 4.0, XP, Macintosh OS 8, 9, X. Labels should provide full-coverage of CD/DVD for maximum space for words and pictures. Kit should include label applicator. CD/DCD Refill Labels: Refill labels should be compatible with the software included in the CD-DVD label kit described above; minimum of 50 matte CD/DVD labels. The laser label kits and refill labels which meet the following criteria: 1) Possession of a nationally known brand name that can be demonstrated to have significant appeal through evidence of substantial sales. 2) Willingness to enter into a multi-year agreement, which includes technical assistance, to have a nonprofit agency that meet the criteria of the Javits-Wagner-O'Day Program to assemble and/or prackage the products in question thereby creating employment for people who are blind or severely disabled. 3) Commitment to working independently with the JWOD team to market the products to Government customers under the JWOD Program. 4) Willingness to work with the nonprofit agency, NIB and the Committee to ensure that the products' price to end-users is a fair and reasonable price. 5) Manufacturers; submissions must demonstrate that the specific products meet the various criteria, as well as indicate what functions the nonprofit agency's employees would perform. Only manufacturers need respond. No response is required from nonprofit agencies.
