Description
NA CONTACT Point of Contact ?????? Barbara McKinney, 732-427-1006. M249 Mounting Bracket Assembly; p/o AN/PVS-4A. This is a market survey to locate potential sources of supply for the M249 Mounting Bracket Assembly; NSN 3040-01-233-0352. The government will be buying these parts using the drawing A3079160. The government intends to purchase the M249 Mounting Bracket Assembly using an indefinite quantity/ indefinite delivery (IDIQ) contract over a five-year period with an estimated contract quantity of 15,000 over the five-year period. The government will guarantee a minimum quantity of 3000 M249 Mounting Bracket Assemblies. The contractor shall be able to deliver 250 units/month. If First Article Testing is required, the contractor shall start deliveries 2 70 days after the order is placed. Without First Article Testing, the contractor shall deliver 180 days after the order is placed. The M249 Mounting Bracket Assembly is U/W the AN/PVS-4A Night Vision Sight. The AN/PVS-4A is a self contained night vision device that enables improved night vision using ambient light from the sky (moon, stars, skyglow, etc.). Any interested sources must send the following information, NLT 11 July 03, to CECOM IEW/S Directorate, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-IEW-N-II (Barbara McKinney), Bl dg. 1201, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703. Identification of the contractor as a Large or a Small Business. If a Small Business, please identify as an 8(a), HUBZone, Disadvantaged, Women-Owned, or non-disadvantaged. Past Performance for these or similar items. Th e contractor shall submit their part number, NSN, or nomenclature and the date of the last manufacturing effort of the same or similar items for which they have production experience. Government contract numbers, if applicable, shall be provided.The contr actor shall cite the quality standard (either Government or Industry) that shall be in place for this effort.The contractor must provide information to show that he possesses, or shall possess, adequate production plant facilities (equipment, tooling, and space) to enable him, or his subcontractors, to produce this item.All technical questions should be addressed to Barbara McKinney, (732) 427-1006, email address Barbara.mckinney@mail1.monmouth.army.mil.
