Description

Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards AFB, CA, has a requirement for non-personal services to repair and maintain avionics parts on aircraft 61-2669, Speckled Trout. The scope of the effort shall include inspection, cleaning, lubing, adjusting, replacing parts, checking operation of equipment to factory specifications, repair of electronic components and preventive maintenance. Refer to attached parts list. The anticipated period of performance is 1 July 2003 through 30 Sep 2003 with four (4) one (1) year options. The NAICS code is 811219 and the size standard is 6 million dollars. The Government intends to establish contracts with three sole source contractors: Rockwell, Honeywell, and CMC unless responses to this notice reveal other sources capable of satisfying the entire requirement (basic plus four options) with better terms and conditions. Interested parties have 15 days from date of this publication to submit literature, catalogs, and/or brochures that will meet the requirement. Failure to supply the requested information will result in the Government not being able to technically evaluate the capability.
