Description
NA The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground/Tropic Regions Test Center (TRTC), Arizona, intends to negotiate a commercial firm-fixed priced contract on a sole source basis with LaQue Center for Corrosion Technology, Inc., 702 Causeway Drive, Wrightsville Be ach, NC 28480. LaQue has provided corrosion test data and reports to enhance support of the natural environment test mission with USAYPG/TRTC in Panama that was awarded as a result of an unsolicited proposal. The continuance of this contract will be mad e to LaQue based on LaQue??????s long-standing relationship with the Technological University of Panama (TUP). USAYPG/TRTC also has a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) for the investigation of corrosion phenomena. The proposed contr act will support our on-going corrosion test program. The contract will include personnel training and corrosion test reporting for a period of 24 months. Pursuant to FAR Part 12 and 13 this acquisition will be issued under the Simplified Acquisition Pro cedures (SAP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541380 with a size standard of $5M. Responses other than the source listed above may identify their interest to perform the requirement by submitting a proposal by way of em ail to Lina.Franks@yuma.army.mil. Your proposal must demonstrate that your firm is licensed to operate within the Republic of Panama, has an established relationship with TUP, has worked within a CRADA environment, and possesses the personnel and capabili ty to the corrosion test reports required. Responses received before close of business on 26 June 2003 shall be considered.
