- UPDATED REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL SYNOPSIS Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.dla.mil AFTER Estimated Date. From the Gateway homepage, select "Search RFPs" from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFP you wish to view. You must be registered in order to download RFPs. If you are not, you will be directed to register at time of download. In order to ensure e-mail notification of RFPs, prospective vendors MUST go to the RFP Information page and select DSCP Clothing & Textiles (C&T) as the commodity center from which notices will be sent. The solicitations will be in a downloadable, printable format when viewed with an Adobe Acrobat Reader. Free software is available at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html. DSCP has developed a web-based system that allows manufacturers the ability to request specifications, patterns and drawings on our contracting page http://ct.dscp.dla.mil/Contracting/. Important Note on Foreign Content The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as ?The Berry Amendment? impose restrictions on the DoD?s acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and ?specialty metals? (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies. This contract will provide Vendor-Managed Inventory for the Navy at specified locations. Under this program the contractor will be required to manage/service the designated destinations. This will involve the contractor physically visiting/stocking such destinations. In addition, for the Naval Training Center Great Lakes the contractor is responsible for stock counts, allocated shelf space on the issue line and allocated storage space off the issue line. These items will be procured for a base year plus four (4) each one year options utilizing the Best Value Source Selection method: NAVY UTILITY SHIRT MN SS, min/max: 250/5,000, all years, NAVY UTILITY SHIRT MN LS, min/max:179,688/269,520 base yr, 198,336/297,696 option yrs; NAVY UTILITY SHIRT WMN SS, min/max: 6,312/9,384 base yr, 10,608/15,912 option yrs; NAVY UTILITY SHIRT WMN LS, min/max: 35,616/53,424 base yr, 46,632/69,960 option yrs; NAVY UTILITY TROUSERS, min/max: 234,984/351,876 base yr, 234,984/352,488 option yrs; NAVY UTILITY SLACKS, min max: 57,372/86,058 base & option yrs; SHIRT, MATERNITY LS, min/max: 3,264/4,896 years; SHIRT, MATERNITY SS, min/max: 3,048/4,584 all years, SLACKS,MATERNITY, min/max: 3,528/5,292 3,528/5,292, all years
