Description

The Department of the Interior, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Region 1, Contracting & General Services, intends to award a contract to VOCUS Inc, 4296 Forbes Blvd, Lanham, MD 20706, for database hosting and licenses renewal, on a follow-on basis. The proposed action is for commercial supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capabililty to respond to the requirement, in writing, or, may submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all written responses or proposals received within 14 calendar days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation of the information received.
