General Information Document Type: Sources Sought Notice, Reference Number F04684-03-T-0024 Posted: 30 May 03, NAICS: 334220 Description: 30th Space Wing, Vandenberg Air Force Base, California intends to issue a sole source contract to Apogee Labs Incorporated for Multiplexer /Demultiplexer Units. - MITC Falcon Communications & Recording Multiplexer & Demultiplexer, 5? Chasis provides 17 module slots, RS-232 remote control and front panel controls, with 130 watt power supply QTY = 2; Packetizer, TTL &PDI I/F QTY = 1; Depacketizer, TTL & PDI I/F QTY = 1; 4 Channel Time and Audio Mux Input QTY = 1; 4 channel Time and Audio Demux Output QTY = 1; T3 Interface, Input and Output QTY = 2; MPEG2 Video Encoder with Intergrated Mux Channel QTY = 1; MPEG2 Video Decoder with Intergrated Demux Channel QTY = 1. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 7 days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
