Description

DESCRIPTION: THIS REQUIREMENT IS SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES ONLY. The NAICS Code is 561410 with a size standard of $6.0. The National Institute of Standards and Technology has a requirement to develop methodologies for (1) reducing the size of the pressure measurement files with no prejudice to the practical estimates of internal forces, (2) modeling probabilistically records with no single distributional fit, and (3) estimating the effect on structural reliability estimates of the building orientation distribution. This project shall be completed including submission of all deliverables, by February 15, 2004 utilizing FAR part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government anticipates the award of a fixed-price purchase order on or about June 23, 2003. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about June 14, 2003 at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The competitive solicitation, all amendments and any questions and answers related to this procurement will be made available via the internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation will only be available via the internet at the above website. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant purchase order. There is no written solicitation document available, telephone requests will not be honored, and no bidders list will be maintained. All small businesses may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. See note 1.
