Description
In accordance with the HHS A-76 and Competitive Sourcing Processes, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has been conducting a Direct Conversion study since April 2003, of the following in-house activities: (1) Certain clerical/secretarial support functions (2) Certain compliance, review, and analysis functions in the Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant program. (3) Various administrative support functions for the SAMHSA and Center National Advisory Councils. The Direct Conversion plan for these functions expects outsourcing to be completed in fiscal year 2004, with a phased approach beginning in fiscal year 2003. This notice is published for informational purposes only.
