Description: DOI arrangment, will mitigate the threat of wildfires to the two important macaw nesting areas, the El Peru-EL Burral region, located within the Laguna del Tigre National Park. Contractor will focus on savings these sites by fighting ground fires currently threatning the areas, controlling areas susceptible to fires before they are burned and monitoring and retarding the threat of fires on macaw nesting trees over a one-and a-half month period. The Government intends to award a contract with Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) 2300 Southern Boulevard Bronx, NY 10460. Request for more information or a copy of the solicitation will not be considered affirmative responses. If no response is received that clearly demonstrates their ability to meet all requirements and that is more advantageous to the Government, we will make a contract award to Wildlife Conservation Society. This is a commercial synopis/soliciation for commercial items prepared in accordance with format in FAR 12.6 as supplement with additional information included in the notice and written solicitation will not be issued.
