- This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F48608-03-Q0016 is issued as a Request for Quotation. The Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-12. This advertised acquisition is a total (100%) small business set-aside with North American Industrial Classification Code 423810. Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). 90 CONS/LGCA, F.E. Warren AFB, WY has a requirement for the purchase of the following: Purchase new or used screen plant for compost facility. One CEC Road runner 5X12 screen-it plant with a 14.5 cubic yard feed hopper 48 inch roller belt feeder, 5X12 step deck screen, Duetz 70hp air-cooled engine, 65 gallon in frame fuel tank, under screen conveyor with 42 inch belt, 14 foot discharge height conveyors, three quarter inch top screen one quarter inch bottom screen and ball tray deck with a slotted screen and 232 tray cleaner balls. A used plant should not have more than 1400 hours on meter and no older than 2001. The screen-it pant will marry up with the MAXI-Grinder that is in place.
