Description

The US Coast Guard, Maintenance and Logistics Command, Atlantic, intends to issue a sole source purchase order with The Trane Company (c/o Damuth Trane) for the purchase of a total of 19 Fan Coil Air Conditioning units, with dual drain stainless steel condensate trays (4 ea Trane Model FCBB0301J, 1 ea Trane Model FCBB0301K, 1 ea Model FCBB0401J, 12 ea Trane Model FCBB0601J, 1 ea Trane Model FCBB0601K). Award will be made in accordance with FAR 6.320-1(a)(2)(iii) ? Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Trane Company is the original manufacturer and posses the necessary proprietary data to provide these items. The requirement will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR 13.5 ? Test Program for Certain Commercial Items with an estimated value of less than $30,000.00. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotes received within 10 days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete as a result of quotes received is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
