- Description
- The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for research and development support for ongoing research programs. Specific research areas include, development of high power lasers, high power radiation sources, pulsed power, laser-plasma interactions, atomic physics modeling, computer modeling of radiation hydrodynamics, space plasmas, nonlinear dynamics, and other physical phenomena. Offerors must have demonstrated experience and the demonstrated ability to provide qualified personnel to perform the specified tasks. This acquisition will be processed as a full and open competition. The Government anticipates an award of a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) type contract. A detailed statement of work and contract data requirements will be included in the solicitation package. The anticipated period of performance will be one (1) year with four (4) one-year options. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541710. NRL uses Electronic Commerce (EC) to issue RFPs and amendments to RFPs, printed copies will not be provided. This solicitation and any amendments to it will be available via the Internet approximately fifteen (15) days after publication of this announcement. All responsible offers will be considered.
