**PLEASE NOTE THIS REQUIREMENT HAS BEEN OPENED TO COMPETITION PLEASE REFERENCE SOLICITATION/SYNOPSIS NUMBER N68335-3125-0874-2********** Lakehurst Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst NJ F-18 Program intends to place a sole-source contract with Heatcon Composite Systems, Seattle, Washington in support of the Spanish F-18 Program. The program has a requirement for the following items : Composite Repair System/Controller P/NHCS9200FL qty1, Heat Blanket 8X8 P/N HC080080E52X qty1, Heat Blanket 18X18 P/N HC180180E52X qty 1, Hear Blanket 24X24 P/N HC240240E52X qty 1. This support equipment is peculiar to the F-18 Aircraft which,Heatcon. holds all data rights. The Government does not own specifications or drawings for the above list of parts. NAWCADLKE intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c ) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation package is available for this procurement. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit proposals, which may or may not be used by the Government in determining whether or not to open this requirement to competition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based on the responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
