Description

NA The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command intends to negotiate on a sole source basis a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), Level of Effort (LOE) contract with Pratt & Whitney Space Propulsion, 600 Metcalf Road, San Jose, CA 95138-9601. The proposed acquis ition is directed to Pratt & Whitney Space Propulsion pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The contract ing effort is for propulsion technical assistance relative to the Orbus1 Solid Rocket Motor, Strategic Target Systems. This effort is to provide technical expertise, logistical support, motor processing, launch operation support, and to maintain flight ce rtification status specific to the Orbus1 Solid Rocket Motor. The proposed effort will not be open to foreign participation. POC is Gayle Kirby, (256) 955-3420. See Note 2.
